Der Greif Studio was part of the opening of The Dean Munich, a night of live music, performance art, tarot readings and karaoke that moved through the whole hotel. Guests found a tuna show at Ibasho, secret Sofar Sounds gigs in a guest room, and DJs in the hidden speakeasy nook.
Upstairs, we turned Room 608 into an editorial photo booth, capturing guests as the night unfolded rather than posed. With the guest rooms part of the party, it was a chance to see the hotel come alive around the work we curated with five Munich-based artists.
